I'm a scientist and technologist who has spent the better part of two decades trying to make biological systems make sense — first in the lab, studying how the brain generates and escapes from seizures, and more recently building machine-learning systems for transcriptomics, organoid biology, and mental health.
Right now I'm a researcher at Amae Health, where we apply ML to passive biometrics and speech to study latent mental-health states. Outside of work I tinker with side projects and occasionally write about things I'm thinking through.
